01 / THE CONTEXT

The work behind the workflow.

The Output Management System supports multi-channel customer communications, from event ingestion and campaign management to notification delivery and operational monitoring.

02 / MY ROLE

Where I contributed.

As part of my contract work with OpenFactor Tech, I contributed to the system's APIs, event-processing reliability, and campaign workflows. I collaborated with QA, Design, and Frontend teams on integration.

03 / THE ENGINEERING

What I built.

APIs for the communication lifecycle

I developed REST APIs for events, event types, campaigns, recipients, delivery tracking, and dashboards. The work included pagination, filtering, status management, and analytics capabilities.

Reliable event processing

I implemented schema validation, correlation-based deduplication, asynchronous queue publishing, fallback channel routing, and circuit-breaker monitoring.

Campaign workflows

I developed recipient CSV ingestion, lifecycle management, scheduling, recurring campaigns, campaign history, and four-eyes approval and review workflows.

Integration and quality

I worked with QA, Design, and Frontend teams to test and integrate more than 20 endpoints, resolve integration blockers, refine API contracts, and implement SonarQube quality gates across six microservices.

04 / THE RESULT

What changed.

  • Contributed APIs and workflows across event ingestion, campaigns, delivery tracking, and monitoring.
  • Collaborated on integration of more than 20 endpoints.
  • Helped implement quality gates across six microservices.
