01 / THE CONTEXT
The work behind the workflow.
GODAT brings booking, ticketing, and analytics into a travel management portal. The system uses independently deployable services with asynchronous workflows for notifications and booking confirmations.
02 / MY ROLE
Where I contributed.
I designed and built the microservices architecture as part of my contract work with OpenFactor Tech, including identity, booking, ticketing, analytics, and messaging capabilities.
03 / THE ENGINEERING
What I built.
Independent services
I built independently deployable services using REST APIs and domain-driven design for the booking, ticketing, and analytics domains.
A dedicated identity service
I implemented authentication and role-based access control through a dedicated identity service.
Asynchronous workflows
I implemented event-driven messaging for notifications and booking confirmations, and added centralized logging and observability for monitoring and debugging.
04 / THE RESULT
What changed.
- Built a service-based architecture for booking, ticketing, and analytics.
- Implemented authentication and role-based access control.
- Added asynchronous notifications and centralized observability.
